How are patrons suppose to feel safe if the recently hired brand new bouncers are the ones that threw the first punches in the massive brawl that happened last friday? So now not only do you have to throw yourself over the bar yelling while waving money to get service after a half hour of doing so or sit there for a hour until someone else tells the bar tender that you need waited on your also not safe when theres a crowd. Its sad that regulars that go there can even have a drink in peace because the new "supposed to be top of the line"(Thats straight out of Dakotas mouth after a huge brawl) bouncers that are there to keep the crowd at ease cant keep their temper under control. I at one point was a regular at the bistro since I live close. I use to reccomend this place to friends to have gatherings, brunch and, birthday celebrations. Now unless you want a beer bottle smashed over your head by an EMPLOYEE (witnessed it myself) or listen to the new crowd pulled in by managment making drug deals in the parking lot, I recommend you do yourself a favor and hit the gas a little harder while drivng by.

Wow, I can see that nothing's changed about this place since the last time we were there in 2012..... SHAME ON YOU..... My 50th birthday, and I took my son and his girl friend, and 45 minutes to receive our food when there were maybe 15 people in the restaurant. Two omelets and a corn flake French toast that's all we ordered and it took 45 minutes. My omelet sat in the "window" under the heat lamps so long that the parsley garnish on top dried out, the toast became hard and the cheese coagulated, plain and simple it.... Hate to say it, sucked!! My Sons girlfriends omelette was even worse... They decided that upon completing her dish that the omelette was to small so instead of making another they jut took that omelette and covered it with more scrambled eggs... ARE YOU KIDDING ME.... Hate to say it, it sucked!!! My sons French toast was the only dish that made it to the table that was okay. We are talking about eggs... C'mon kitchen staff get it together and present your menu like it's advertised, oh the potatoes were good, and the ketchup from Hienz is always consistent. Service was okay, I felt sorry for our waiter, he must apologized at least three or four times for the kitchens lack of urgency and skill! It's frustrating to pay money for a service that's not provided. I know there are many intangibles when dealing with food but this my second visit and I experienced basically the same issues from two years ago... I feel I was robbed..... Never again!

Great find! Stayed in Morgantown and there's no real places to eat!! This was a short drive from the Holiday Inn...Food here was good, menu lots of variety! Ribs fell of the bone! Mussels were good, French onion soup yummy too! Nice atmosphere and good service!! EAT HERE!

We've eaten dinner here several times and very happy with dinner..4-5 stars for dinner and service quality. However their brunch had a lot to be desired. There were 3 tables total yet we waited 20 min for omelette eggs & pancakes. One piece of toast on serving cut in half..the menu stated 3 pancakes. There were 2 and they were flat and greasy. The sausage was dry. They piled on the potatoes which tasted left over. I could go on, but don't recommend eating brunch here and won't be back.

Excellent brunch! There was a bit of a wait after we sat, but it was worth it in the end. My salmon BLT was very good! Bacon nice and crispy, too!

We went here for their Sunday brunch. WOW, talk about expensive. It was more expensive then shady maple!... and we didn't have very many options. There was someone making omelets and they had a roast carving station (nothing to write home about in any way). Very mediocre food (think rubbery waffles, wet french toast, sausage links) and the lunch part of it is pretty much only salad and soup. We definitely won't be spending that kind of money for anything like that again.

Nice small town restaurant with uptown class. Limited menu but very interesting selections. Wine is pricey and not much for your $ (the bartender was new and seemed afraid she would over pour). Bathroom was immaculate!

The place was empty and yet the server never asked if I need anything or refilled my drink. I ordered the salmon BLT which was priced right but tasted fishy. It was also very bland which didn't help the fishy taste.

Oh lord if I could give a negative star I totally would. We came here this last weekend about 1pm for lunch. The restaurant had about 5 tables seated at the time. It was a disaster from beginning to end. 1 - Waitress was non attentive and forgetful. 2 - We waited literally about 40 minutes for our order of a couple sandwiches, salad and 2 kids sandwiches. (though the cheese was melted clear off the one burger when it came out - which says to me that it sat under the warmer for quite a while.) 3 - Both our kids' meals came out missing obvious ingredients -like cheese on a cheeseburger. 4 - The salad was tiny and a sad excuse for an entree size salad. 5 - The carrots on the side salads were SLIMY. Eeek - I almost lost the few bites I had eaten when that was discovered. 6 - No condiments were even offered - i.e. ketchup please for the fries?? We were truly flabbergasted - we kept thinking the server was just having a bad day and making excuses for this and that but the slimy carrots truly did us in. We complained and the server never apologized. She just kept saying "ok, ok." Finally the manager came by, apologized an offered us 20% off of our ticket. Um... wow. Go elsewhere - anywhere else!!

The menu has been changed and I think the food has gotten significantly better. The food wasn't bad before but it was just pub food. Its quite good now. They use local vendors and the menu is creative. This place is becoming on of my favorite restaurants to eat at. The servers are friendly and it is a family friendly place.

This is our third or fourth time here. We always sit at the bar, have an appetizer and some pizza. It's always good. Thin crust, crispy pizza, reasonably priced drinks (stoli martini was $8.50), and the friendliest, most professional waitstaff we've found west of king of Prussia. Tonight, the pizza guy behind the bar put on a show for a little girl waiting for take out. Worth the drive to Honey Brook.

Stopped on our way from the beach. The cheesesteaks and burgers were awesome. One of the best burgers ice ever had. So tender.

I receive emails from them weekly so my wife and I decided to give them a try. Went for drinks at the bar and some wings, took 40 min to get the bartender to come to our end of the bar to close out. Decided to check out the cigar bar sat at bar and u would think we were invisible. Barmaid walked right by us and never acknowledged us after 10 min so we left. I thought this place could be a pick for our Christmas party of 50 but no way staff could care less. To many places begging for business today I'm sure they will be out of business soon.

My husband has been wanting to come here for a long time. We live about a half hour away and finally tried it out tonight. I wish we hadn't. Hubby ordered the mushroom bisque (with Kennett mushrooms) - it came out (as someone else mentioned) in a huge bowl, with a tiny amount in it. It honestly looked like dog chow, it was disgusting looking. He tried it and said it was bad, and cold. I tried a tiny bite and it was terrible. I wanted to wash the taste out of my mouth, but the waitress never brought me a refill on my drink that I had requested. My husband sent his bisque back and decided to try the chili. When that came out, it was so thick you could use a fork to eat it - and it was also cold. He sent that back also. I ordered the scallops. They were cold as well, and tiny. The sides were not great either - the salad was supposed to have prosciutto, but it was obviously bacon. It was also extremely greasy. The baked potato had obviously been cooked way earlier in the day and just reheated. It was wrinkled and tough. It also came with cauliflower purée, which was also cold, but actually tasted ok. Unfortunately it was used more as a decoration than as an actual side. Ultimately we ended up paying over $40 for a horrible meal, and left hungry. It is already giving me an upset stomach. A couple things to add insult to injury: After the waitress dropped the food she took off across the room and sat and talked with a table there for at least 15 minutes. We had to flag someone else down to send the food back. The whole time we were their the music from the Pub downstairs was so loud that we could sing to it - and it was vibrating our feet. Will NEVER eat there again!!

Okay...there aren't many options in this area and the restaurant really isn't the most contemporary. I leveled my expectations after spending an hour to find a Starbucks. :). But...I must say the service, the food presentation and the food rival any cool, hip gastronomy pub in Philly. Cheers to you Bistro on 10!!!

I saw a lot of comments about the service... Our server was awesome! We were a large group (9 people), and our server, Dottie, kept our orders organized, had our drinks to us promptly, and served us with a smile and great attitude. I ordered the shrimp and spring orzo, and it was a bit rich for me--I definitely couldn't eat more than half of it--but it was delicious and a very filling portion. I'm not from the area, so I've not eaten here before, but those in my party who have eaten there before said Dottie was the best server they've had as well. The appetizers were delicious too; we had the calamari, bruschetta, and mac n' cheese.

Very nice place. Pretty, medium-size crowd, friendly staff and delicious food. The only negative was that the service was a little slow. We went for both dinner and brunch and everything we tasted was excellent and reasonably priced.

We had a large party of nine early on a Sunday night. The dining room was not crowded. Our waitress was really great because it took several trips before all of our party had arrived. She was super about our request for separate checks. The draft list is lengthy. I tried the dead man by rogue which was delicious. We had to ask for a pub menu because the dinner entrees seemed a bit pricey. Most in our party went with a simple burger. My husband got the prime rib special which was just ok. I got the bistro pizza. The menu said pesto but I did not taste any. The pizza was large took half home but really too salty to enjoy. Overall the food was just so so but service was great. The funny part of the night was when the waitress said she needed to tell us what they did not have before we ordered. She said no cucumbers, no crab cakes only one serving of mushroom soup etc etc The list was so long we laughed and asked what do you have! As we were putting our coats on and saying goodbye to our friends, the hostess quickly told us we needed to leave the restaurant and talk in the lobby. I am not sure why she did this but it did seem like we were getting kicked out.

Our waitress was intermittent with her service skills (i.e. forgetting items, not checking after we rec'd food, etc.) My friend ordered crab cake did not want fried option (FF or OR) when asked if they have fruit she said no but you can have a side salad. The mushroom bisque was exactly like Tracy L. said and they have the nerve to charge 8.00 for a large rimmed bowl to deceive the customer you are only getting a cup's worth in the shallow hole not a bowl's worth and NOT 8 dollars worth for that! Oh 1/2 hr later and our 2 sandwiches arrived. My french dip minus the au jus (waitress ran back to get that)...the roll was 2x the width of the little au jus cup they gave me...very difficult to dip so much for the french dip method! Chef needs to find another way to serve this sandwich! The roll was too crunchy should be soft to dip into so another strike on execution. And the price tag at $12.00 next time going to Arbys. My friend's side salad was the most pathetic looking side salad ever seen in my life. She ate the cherry tomatoes and cucumbers into the dressing only. We saw a dessert tray being shown about 3 tables away so peaked our interests since we were still hungry. When we asked the waitress simply told us so I guess we weren't worthy of the dessert tray show :( One of the most miserable dining experiences had especially for what we paid. Finally on the way out the lady behind the reception desk never said "have a nice night" or anything as we walked past...very poor customer service would have made a small difference in our lousy evening.

Good luck getting service. Been there twice around 1 in the afternoon both times. Still have yet to eat there because we were completely ignored so we walked out. We will not be trying for a 3rd time.

I've seen this restaurant change hands and staff many times since it opened. I've had some pretty bad experiences here, but nothing bad enough to keep me away forever, especially because of the turnover - this place has not been known for its consistency. After my past 5 or so visits over the past year, I am convinced that they now have it (pretty much) right on the money in terms of service, menu, beer list, and overall experience. True that the hostess station is not always manned, but that doesn't bother me too much, I've never waited for too long to be seated. I love having excuses to eat the the Bistro and am always confident enough to bring first timers along with me - they are usually impressed! The only thing I would wish for is an onine menu on the website so I can daydream about what to order...

Horrible Restaurant! My husband and I and two other couples went to this restaurant on Saturday Night. The place is huge. It wasn't that crowded. We were seated all the way in the back room of the restaurant and basically forgot about. My husband ordered a wedge salad for $14. It was the smallest wedge of lettuce I have ever seen. It was less than a 1/4 of a head of lettuce. One neighbor ordered the soup of the day. It came in a great big bowl and there was only about a 1/2 cup of soup in the bowl. I ordered the Kennet Square Pizza which was o.k. My neighbor ordered the Queen Cut Prime Rib and the other neighbor ordered a King Cut. They were very small potions and were not cooked to specifications. The one neighbor sent it back. I would NOT recommend this restaurant.

I'm not sure why others had a bad experience at Bistro 10 (maybe just a bad night) but we had a GREAT meal at Bistro 10. The cocktail drinks are generous and inexpensive. They also have a great selection of micro brew beers on tap. I had an excellent Tanqueray and tonic for $5. Before your meal they bring you small bread baquetts with herb infused oil. This oil was incredible. I know I'm raving about oil but it was that good! We ordered more and couldn't stop. We also had the truffle fries and DUCK AND SMOKED MOZZARELLA FLAT BREAD. Very very good. I ordered the King Cut Prime Rib which was outstanding. Get the king cut over the queen. The queen cut was much thinner and not as flavorful. The service was very attentive without being over bearing. After reading a lot of fair reviews I was hesitant about eating there but the place was crowded which is always a good sign and the food was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate in going back again. Note - I am in no way affiliated with this restaurant. I stayed at the Inn and was very pleased.

We just left our third visit to Bistro on 10. And it was a quick one. We went for happy hour. Two booths had diners...other than that there was one man at the bar. We were directed to the bar, where one customer was paying his bar bill. We were not acknowledged by the bartender. We sat at there and waited.....and waited. And waited. The only people there for happy hour! We left and told the manager that were not acknowledged or rcvd. service.....he appeared shocked. Very depressing place. The first 2 visits were mediocre, but the happy hour ad led us back in to give it another try. In this economy, one would think anyone would appreciate business!! We will not return.

Decent dining choices in this area are limited. I'm a frequent solo business traveller with a decent expense account. I was really looking forward to dinner here after wretched meals elsewhere. The place was pretty empty but I was led to a booth near the kitchen behind one filled with people obviously having a good time. Great, fine, everyone loves a good time, but the acoustics of this place made it sound like all of them were screaming in my ear. After a long day at a customer site all I want is a little peace and quiet and a nice meal. I asked my young waiter if there was a table in a quiet area but she gave me this odd look and basically said no, even though there were plenty of open tables on the other side of the place. OK, fine, I'll deal. Wine, small caesar salad, rack of lamb medium rare. Wine arrives quickly, a decent if unexceptional Malbec. Salad delivered by kitchen runner, overdressed. The salad, I mean. I ate about half of it. Waiter asked how I liked my salad. Um, really? It's just a salad. Lamb arrived, looked fantastic and artfully arranged. Unfortunately it was overcooked and bland, served with a mountain of mashed potato and steamed broccoli that I barely touched; both were OK but I just wasn't interested in eating them. Wine glass was emptied and set at edge of table. It waited a good ten minutes before waiter noticed it was empty and offered another one. Was never asked if everything was OK with the main dish -- it wasn't but I was hungry and let it go, and eight chops were plenty for a dedicated carnivore even if they were overcooked. Bailed on dessert. I'm used to being ignored as a solo diner but this time it was really too damned obvious that my waiter barely had the time of day for me, despite having ordered over $40 of food and wine. You didn't even earn that 10% tip, young lady. Hints: a good waiter immediately notices when a wine glass is empty, asks about the entree, not the damned salad, and doesn't emit an uncomfortably chilly vibe. Where do you think you are anyway? Two stars because it was better than anything else I've had on this trip, aside from the weekend in Philly and the fantastic Restaurant Week prix-fixe at Rum Bar. OMG.

Can't say enough good things about this place. First timer tonight and would certainly go back. My husband had the prime rib which was very good and I had the eastern shore pizza which was so different with the smoked mozzarella. Yummy! Hostesses were great and serve was excellent.

People have been trying to make restaurants work in this same hotel since I was a toddler. It doesn't ever seem to work. I decided (again) to give them a try when they switched hands (again) -- especially since the lot always seemed full in the evening, with Jags and Aston Martins and BMWs. I went in with an open mind, but it was very much more of the same. Overpriced menu, overpriced wines, undercooked or overcooked food, and a little bland. It may be the fanciest place Honey Brook has to offer, but if you're there for food, skip it.

My wife and I checked out Bisto last weekend. First impressions were great, beautiful place, looks newly renovated. Staff was attentive and friendly from hostess to server. Crowd was decent, not packed, but a good active feel. So why just one star...you guessed it, the food. I hope for their sake the more mundane bar food is better than what we chose. For apps my wife had calamri which was fine, but totally run of the mill. I had the mussels and can't say much good about them. I don't know if they were trying to be cutting edge by adding fennel or what, but man is that a bad combo. For dinner I went with the filet, hoping that was simple enough not to mess up. The steak was good, but the sides were weak. Wife had mushroom ravioli...easy right. Not so much, pasta had obviously been sitting out and was dried out around the edges. The sauce was the most noxious color of battleship grey. So as much as we were hoping the other comments were wrong, they were right. The food here is weak at best...and that's coming from a patron who used a gift card. Thank god I didn't have to pay for that myself.

Although I live in Morgantown, I'm constantly traveling south to Chester County to see friends, work, shop, eat, drink and be merry. For the past few months I've been passing by this cute cafe/bistro on the corner of Route 10 and 322. The hubster and I decided to give it a try this past Saturday. The decor inside was very rustic and somewhat eclectic. Even though if was fairly obvious that the staff was brand new and still working out the kinks, they were very attentive. I'm always willing to let a few things slide in a new establishment. I just wanted an appetizer (bridal shower earlier that day - still recovering from the sugar overload), and the other half wanted a full meal. I ordered the Herb Crusted Grilled Shrimp (with red pepper coulis, savory battered french baguette, roasted pepper salad and shredded goat cheese = YUMMERS!). Hubby ordered the NY Strip Steak special. When our meals arrived, I was looking at my shrimp and noticed that 3 of the 4 shrimp were grey (not white/pink). I'm paranoid about food being thoroughly cooked in the first place, and that just set me off. The manager happened to walk by so we grabbed his attention. I couldn't even finish my sentence because he looked down and my plate and knew there was an issue. He immediately took it back to the kitchen and produced (what I hoped) was a brand new plate of food (cooked through this time). I tried to eat it, but was a little wigged out over the raw shrimp and wondering was this new plate of food REALLY a brand new plate of food (call me cynical). The hubby LOVED his steak (can't go wrong with a tasty slab of beef for my man). Although I gave Bistro on 10 only 2 stars, I will go back and give them another try in a few months. Hey, maybe I can revise my review in the future! The manager was so apologetic that he took care of our entire bill (on the house), drinks and all. So if anything, I give them props for trying to make good on what could have been a distrastrous evening had I not been paying attention. ;-)

This was our first trip to Bistro on 10- driven by it plenty of times before. I must say I was surprised to read the reviews after returning home. Our food was excellent, the service was quick and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was nice, I'm not sure if something ha changed recently, but we will definitely be back.
